How to handle nasty responses
People react to your news that you’re quitting drinking alcohol in all sorts of ways. Some will congratulate you. Some will laugh and call you ‘dumb’. Some will try and test you by getting you to have a drink with them. Then there are some who will be quite hostile, rude and objectionable..This could be for any number of reasons. They too would like to quit and can’t and become angry when someone else is successful. They wish they could be like you. Or they may see you as superior to them and so on. But the point of this point is that you should be prepared..
Expect the unexpected..
Nobody likes to be treated badly but that’s the type of response you might get when you announce you are off the booze. You may not stop the reaction but you can move on and not let it deter you from your quest. Sadly you are just going to have to live with it. You don’t have to accept it of course but be prepared for all kinds of reactions. If something nasty comes, be prepared, and never back down.

We suggest you purchase the number 1 'how to stop drinking' program Quit Drink 4 Life.
