Perseverance pays
Trying to quit drinking alcohol can be a tough ask for many people. Even if you are only a moderate or social drinker but have been that way for decades, it can be difficult to suddenly go cold turkey. Even with a strong plan and the best of intentions we are only human. So let’s say you begin your no drinking alcohol regime and then one day a week or even weeks down the track you have a drink. Is that the end of the world? No because you are on a long journey. Everyone stumbles at some stage. The key is simple. Just get back on the wagon and carry on.
If you can pinpoint why you had a drink after all that time, make a note to avoid that situation in the future. I mean was it a place you visited, a person you went out with or a time when you were feeling low? If you understand what prompted you to break your pledge, being able to avoid that situation in the future could save you doing the same thing again; and again and again.
Remember that it’s not falling off that’s important but rather that you get back up and go again.

We suggest you purchase the number 1 'how to stop drinking' program Quit Drink 4 Life.
